Grading Policy for Level Classes:

Work is due at the start of class on the date assigned.  If it is turned in one day late, a grade of 89% will be given. Two days late, the grade is 80%. It will go down 10% each day after that.
Failed exams can be re-taken for half credit on the ones you missed. You must take them at an arranged time, such as before or after school or during lunch.

Cheating Policy:
At Knox Junior High we do not tolerate cheating of any kind
1. ~If a child is caught cheating on an assignment, quiz, or test then the consequence will be a zero.
2. ~Be prepared to call home and discuss the issue with your parents or guardian.
Don't cheat-- it is not worth the trouble!

Absence Policy:

If a student is absent, they need to ask me about missed classwork and homework, and get it made up as soon as possible.  Homework will also be listed on the homework link of this page.

Due to the use of common assessments, there is a risk of a breach in test security; therefore, teachers will go over tests in class only after the test has been administered and graded.  However, the tests will not be sent home.  If you would like to see the test, please make an appointment for you and your child to go over it at the school with the teacher.  This is for commonly assessed tests only-- quizzes and other assessments can be sent home.
